Beading bits are similar to the round over profile, but a smaller bearing producesa delicate inset at the base of the cut, giving you an extra decorative option.
Cut a quarter-round shape bounded by fillets, known as a bead, in one pass by this routerbit. The width of one fillet is set by the pilot bearing size, while the other iscontrolled by the depth of cut.Beading bits create attractive decorative edging thatgives a unique finish to the work piece.
Tip: Cut the ends first and then the sides. Less tear-out is achieved by cutting the end grain first.
This router bit has a12.7mm shank (shaft) that will fit most large routers. Pleaseensure that you select a router bit with a shank (shaft) size that will fitinto your router collet.
